Our work can be structured to leverage MITs resources, providing clients with significantly reduced costs compared to traditional consulting firms. With many cities and governments facing budget shortfalls and huge maintenance backlogs for the public realms they currently manage, it has become increasingly important to define and choose more intelligent projects that will have bigger impacts on urban system sustainability. Urban Stress Test: Systemic Landscape Efficiencies and Ecologies
Ideal Client Candidate Characteristics:
-Any public or private stakeholder with an abundance of disvalued location(s) in need of revisioning for ecological improvements, sustainability measures, economic development and new public realm opportunities.
Examples Include:
Watershed problems, brownfields, superfund sites, deindustrialized lands, foreclosed home developments, vacant and derelict properties, other waste sites.
